Quartet for the End of Time

On January 15th, 1941, amid humanity's darkest moments, four musicians premiered Olivier Messiaen's "Quartet for the End of Time" for an audience of prisoners, officers, and prison guards in a German prisoner-of-war camp. 80 years later, to the day, Music for Montauk explores this luminary work in a special live performance film project.
